Seychelles' passport has risen in global rankings, now placed among the top 30 worldwide, according to the 2024 Henley and Partners report. In Africa, Seychelles leads the way, followed by Mauritius ranked 30th globally and South Africa at 53rd position.

Passports from countries like Japan and Singapore allow visa-free travel to 194 destinations, while Afghanistan's passport offers access to only 28 countries without a visa. Seychelles passport holders currently has visa free or visa on arrival access to 155 countries and territories.
