Thailand Expands Visa on Arrival Program

From August 1st, Thailand has introduced new visa and travel measures aimed at revitalising its tourism sector and boosting its national economy. In a significant move, the Thai government has added 31 new countries and territories to its Visa on Arrival program, making it easier for tourists to visit the popular Southeast Asian destination. Among the newly eligible nations is Seychelles, offering Seychellois travellers a faster and easier process for entry.

Travellers from Seychelles can apply for a Visa on Arrival directly at Thai immigration checkpoints, which cost 2,000 THB and permits a single entry for stays of up to 15 days. This provides ample time for visitors to explore Thailand’s rich cultural heritage, stunning beaches, and bustling cities.
